Review by giggles for Very Bat Girl Costume Rating: My daughter wore this to a costume party and it was such a hit! Very happy with purchase. She did have to remove the wings after awhile because she was running around with the other kids and they were bumping into things but very nice and true to size if not running a little big. I am sure I will get at least one more year out of this costume. I bought the adult size wig to match. I just used black stockings and shoes and it looked better than the picture.

Review by L. Lively for Very Bat Girl Costume Rating: My daughter looked for a costume for weeks yet she kept coming back to this one. I was sceptical regarding the quality. When it arrived it was pleasantly suprised. It's very cute.
My only complaint is that it is pretty short. Leggings are a must!!

If your dog is happy to wear a costume, you should have no worries. You will get the desired laughs. The only negative for this item is that I wish the material had been a little better/nicer. But, it's only for 1 day a year, so who really cares?

I love this costume! I was a little hesitant because the costume seems a little tame on the model but that was not the case at all. I’m 5’5, 123 lbs, size 25 waist and this S/M costume fit VERY well on me. I think if I were a couple more pounds the zipper wouldn’t go up! If your measurements are smaller than mine I know they offer an XS as well, you just have to look on eBay. Also, any taller than me then you should probably get the next size up, I was practically showing everything it is so short! The model must be under five feet tall. I will definitely need some bloomers/petticoat with this. The fabric reminds me of my scrubs and there is not that much stretch to it. Like a previous reviewer said, the hem is weird and does seem unfinished but I don’t mind because it’s a Halloween costume. This costume can be very sexy if you want it to be

In short:

–It’s not a cheaply made costume

–Very short! Will definitely fit in with the rest of the girls down Austin’s 6th street (where I’m going)

–Very cute!!

I ordered it because of the positive reviews and I am pleasantly surprised. I have been hunting for a Halloween costume for more than a month before I found this one. I originally found a sailor costume at a local costume store that was $125.00. I then decided to find something else and was tied between 'Specture' and 'Padma'. After trying on the costumes in store and finding them cheaper at Amazon, I continued to browse the online costume store a bit while trying to make a decision. I stumbled upon this one, and since I had enough time to return it if I was unhappy, I ordered it.

This costume is well made and fairly unique. I have yet to see it in store. The material used is a cotton blend, that doesn't have the usual costume "sheen" to it. While it does have a LITTLE stretch to it and the stretch gives the costume a better 'tailor-made' fit; it is best to size up. The material used is very similar to many button-up shirts made for women these days. While they have the crisp cotton look to them, they have a little bit of stretch to make the shirt look custom fitted for the buyer.

I wasn't sure of a medium (I knew a large would be too big) but there was a the option of small, small/medium, medium, medium/large and a large. I wear a size 6 and I ordered a medium/large and it fit perfectly! While the costume is made well and the skirt fits with some flounce and fullness, I would recommend a petticoat. The costume is shorter than I would ever wear out in public, but I purchased a petticoat to wear under it and it completely remedied that issue. I happen to be 5'8 (I tend to wear a 34' inseam) but would still recommend a petticoat for even a shorter person to wear underneath to give the costume a more finished look. Because of packing and shipping the costume arrives a bit wrinkled, but because its a cotton blend a quick once over with the iron or steamer will make this costume a keeper for years to come!

One of the biggest compliments that I can give, is that the costume is very much, as pictured!

The costume looks great and is definitely worth what you pay for it. The material does not look cheap at all and it is very well constructed. I tried it on right away and it looks great! I have not seen this costume in any of the stores so it will definitely be original. If you are unsure about what size to order just go up from your regular size because it does run a little small. Overall it is a great product and im very pleased.

I ordered this costume for Halloween, the order shipped fast and was in good condition when I opened that packaging. The first thing I noticed when I opened the packaging was that the costume was made with the quality of regular street clothing. It doesn’t have that tacky shine, the cut is adorable and cute and the details are wonderful for a Halloween costume. It was a bit wrinkled when I took it out, but that will be easily remedied. The fit is true to size, although when in doubt, order a size up. I’m regularly a size eight-ten but I have a bigger chest and broader back, so I went up to an X-large instead of a medium large and do not regret this. The costume has a slight stretch to it, but I would still say go up in size if you’re wondering. This costume is short, I’d suggest a petticoat for sure and maybe even some white tights.

Overall, cute, well made and worth the money.
