When we think of Halloween, we usually think of ghosts and demons and wicked beings. However, Halloween is not only about these characters. As such, Snow White reminds us of the terrifying wickedness of her step mother and the magic mirror she uses for her wicked plans.

Snow White’s mother was a kindhearted queen. However, when her mother died shortly, her father, the King, remarried to an evil witch who tried to kill her. She ran quickly into the depths of the woods and met the Seven Dwarves. The dwarves considered her a part of the family. Eventually, she was able to meet her Prince Charming and restored peace into the land.

The most popular of all portrayals of Snow White was created by Walt Disney in an animation released in 1937. She wore a yellow skirt, a blue bodice, and a red cape with a white-stand-up collar. Women and little girls alike can use this portrayal for any Halloween occasion, be it partying or trick-or-treating.

There are also other versions available in the market to fit other girl’s taste in costumes. One of them is the sexy Snow White costume. This costume can be worn with a short or long skirt depending on one’s choice. This gives the character a more adult look.

Halloween is one of those holiday celebrations many of us look forward to each year. In fact, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. Taking your child our trick-or-treating for the first time, or putting them in their first little Halloween costume is an event we parents cherish. Your baby probably won’t remember it, but hopefully you’ll have pictures to preserve those memories long after they’ve grown up.

The Halloween season can sometimes be scary for little kids. The celebration parents had dreamed of can easily be ruined if the youngest member of the family is scared out of their wits by all the scary Halloween sights and sounds. Going with non-scary costumes is best for the first couple of years at least. This allows kids to slowly get comfortable with the concept of Halloween and enjoy the celebration without fear or bad nightmares. By wearing a fun and playful costume, they are able to get really into the spirit of Halloween without being freaked out.
