It’s all in this game of love!

I don’t want to name my ‘benevolent’ friends who warned me against marriage and later forced me to throw a party to celebrate it. It wasn’t them who helped me today. She didn’t call me during lunch or in the evening to ask me to get back home on time. Indifference. Cold, brutal womanly indifference! Well, I couldn’t blame her for this treatment. I had committed the blasphemy of forgetting Valentine’s Day!

But thank God for little mercies. A mouthful of chocolate and eyes bedazzled with the brilliance of the Jewellery Set surprise.
