I sent this to my nephew, who now lives in Hong Kong and loves it so much that he sleeps with her. It ‘almost 3 and insists that he read every night. I think that makes you feel more comfortable in this new place, integrating the Chinese traditions have experienced for the first time this year. Although I have not read, I can only comment on that from the point of view of the child, and should be a good barometer for the other children. Rating: 5 / 5
A great and interesting book for children age 3-7. Kids love it. Teaches children about different traditions, habits of good. Particularly useful for the introduction of small Asian culture. Rating: 5 / 5
My 4-years old son has three shelves of books for children in his closet, and this is my favorite. The flow of the text makes it a great pleasure to read each time! Rating: 5 / 5
I read this beautifully illustrated book for my class of 25 preschoolers in the day of Chinese New Year. They loved it! So I could identify with the boy and his search for fortune. Said a student at the end of the book. . . “That’s all right I go home to clean my room!” I have heard that many kids in the palms of hands are itching. I have a very diverse group of children this year in many countries, so this book really spoke to them. Take care! Rating: 5 / 5
